A year of Food & Design – 12 months, 12 ingredients, 12 visual experiments, is an explorative visual approach to the interweaving between the Gastronomic and the Design worlds, considering two of their basic founding elements (ingredients and principles).

These explorations triggered a will to understand the potential of designing and communicating with food; to absorb from the gastronomy the stimulus and aesthetics and produce new content, tools or products. Focusing on the process and applications of this kind of imagery, it served as a starting point towards exploring the visual potential of food, and the starting of our Lab.

Food waste was always prevented.

Tasting Creativity is an exploratory project where we mixed up creative processes, photography, and food. The visual goal is to explore the crossing between objects and some ingredients to illustrate simple ideas about boosting creativity in our lives.

We believe that personal and professional contexts can benefit from creative environments. Those who study and deal with creativity often create methods and processes that help them be as creative as they can. We believe these strategies can be applied to our ways of being and dealing with life as it unfolds, making us more creative and, ultimately, happier. We have deconstructed some of our own strategies into a set of tips that we follow in our workplace, which we are glad to share.

Food waste was always prevented.
